Dr. Stephen Perry has always been interested in physical health. After placing second in the Illinois High School State Wrestling Meet, he attended Indiana University on a full athletic scholarship, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He then earned another Bachelor's Degree in Human Anatomy, and then earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, in 1977.
"It gives me great pride to help others get out of pain and repair their health," says Dr. Perry. "It is as if I am giving them the chance to get back into the game again."
"I take genuine interest in my patient's care. Our office focuses on the total health of the individual, not just the integrity of the spine. In addition to chiropractic care, we offer our patients nutritional counseling, acupuncture therapy, wellness, and other alternative health care techniques that enable them to improve their health and that of their families naturally."
Constantly stirring to give his patients the most up-to-date care possible, Dr. Perry attends many post graduate seminars including such topics as musculoskeletal rehabilitation, motion palpation, and spinal impairment.
Dr. Perry has three grown children. Emily, 28, works as a book editor for a large publishing firm. Alicia, 22, works as a project manager for a commercial real estate firm in downtown Chicago. Brett, 20, is currently serving his country as a member of the US Army overseas (the 173rd airborne brigade).
